    170B model maintenance

Welcome to the forum. I'd love to see if you have photos of your work area and the plane in it. I hope you have someone to help you with the cables being run through the fuselage of the plane.

    Cessna 310s

All the photos are great looking, but that last one with the sun on the water is my favorite of all of them.

Country Hangar Flight with a GoPro MAX 360 camera

Another such a nice video. If I ever get out to Plano, TX I'm going to have to let you know and see if I could get a ride. I love seeing the ground and the plane.

GoPro MAX 360 Video Shots - Tiedown Mounts

This angle is really neat seeing the shadows on the ground and the take off and flying.

    Hello from Huntsville, Alabama!

Hi there. Do you fly out of the main airport, Moontown, Hazel Green or Athens? or possibly Meridianville Ex. Airport? I know that area.

What Cessna is often modified into a jump plane?

That's neat that you fly a retired jump plane. When the door is open and the breeze is cooling things down, do you feel any drag on the fuselage or will the tapering from front to back keep the air from hitting the door way.

What Cessna is often modified into a jump plane?

I was watching a few skydivers the other day. I think it was a Cessna they were jumping from, and the right side was open for them to jump from. I did not see if there was a door lifted up, or a portion of the plane slid back like a barn type door. I was not at the airport, so I didn't...

Having a job that fell into your lap is great. About how close to the wires do you have fly?

    Love my Cessna 172!

I really enjoyed the video of your flying. I second what Angie said about wishing to see more of your videos.

    N7778 - 177RG

The outside looks so nice, but the interior looks really clean and like new.

When your Hawk XP was overweight, were the flight controls more sluggish? And I would assume, that the take off was extended as it may not have the same amount of lift due to the extra weight?

    South Carolina $100 breakfasts

That is a neat happening. Nothing like meeting pilots and making friends.

That is really neat that you can teach your kids to fly. Do you have to be a Certified Flight Instructor to be able to do that? And what type of pipelines to you inspect from the air? Petroleum?

    N7778 - 177RG

Is that when you first bought it, or are you able to keep it that clean? Do you get to fly it often?

    Cessna and friends

Does the configuration of the front struts make the ground steering react differently than the straight strut planes?

    VH-WNM - 177B

Thanks for sharing the photos of your plane. I really like the looks of it. How long have you had it?

    C-38 AIRMASTER

Thanks for mentioning the struts not being on that plane. I think that is what made it look so different to me. Very nice plane.

    Avionics

@Dhedeman have you ever soldered? You will need a good roll/pkg of solder and a soldering iron? It sounds as if a new coax connector may help. Here is a video that shows how to solder the connector.

Is that plane as powerful as the nose looks like it would be?

    Greetings from VA

Great another member to learn from. Does CFI mean Certified Flight Instructor? I can't guess the MEI, what does it mean?
