1959 Skylark GO300 IFR STOL Flies Fast Lands Short
I have owned a Piper Warrior and Beech B19 in the past.
i trained in 150, 172, 7KCAB, J3, Champ etc.
The Skylark is my favorite airplane so far.
It has 40 degree flaps and can be landed short.
Climbs over 1000 fpm with 240 lb pilot and 52 gallons of fuel which it burns atvabout 11 gph.
Can cruise at 140 mph @ more like 12 gph.
Way more solid and stable than flight school 172s I have flown.
