When I fly long flights, I use both of my fuel tanks, but the left tank consumes fuel faster than the right tank. I also noticed that even after switching to the right tank, fuel continued to flow from the left tank until it was empty. The pipes appear to be in good condition, so I'm not sure what's going on.

Hey @Rory,

Is this a Cessna single with fuel vents on both sides? If so, I recommend to start tweaking those left and right fuel tank vents following the service manual.

Next, take a good look at the upper wing root fairings for any dings or wonkiness, since that can mess with how the vents do their thing.

Lastly, try swapping those fuel caps from side to side and see if that shakes up the weird flow patterns.

Hope it helps!
