170B model maintenance

Currently working on one of these in the shop. This particular model is pretty well cared for, but needs some love in a few places, like the control cables and some oil leaks from the original O-300 Continental

Welcome to the forum. I'd love to see if you have photos of your work area and the plane in it. I hope you have someone to help you with the cables being run through the fuselage of the plane.

Good luck with the oil leaks. It's hard to track them down and even harder to get them to stop completely. Control cables i would get from McFarlane. I have done the rudder cables and pulleys. My son was 12 at the time and could get back there on a 2x6 over the bulkheads.
