I'm having trouble understanding the fuel management system on my 1975 Cessna 310R. Does this bird have a fuel transfer pump, or am I stuck crossfeeding manually?

The seller mentioned pulling the breaker for the landing gear to stop the aux fuel pump from running, but my avionics guy thinks it's just the landing lights motor. Can anyone offer some advice on how to properly manage the fuel system on this? TIA

In a 310R, each main tank has two pumps. The auxiliary pump, controlled from the cockpit, primes the engine and keeps fuel pressure steady. Then there’s the transfer pump at the back, which runs when the master switch is on, moving fuel from the nose to the center section during low levels and steep descents.

While it's not advisable to pull the circuit breaker in-flight, it's fine to do so during maintenance, just remember to flag it for resetting before flying again. Got it?
