IIRC The first 210 was model year 1960.

Long story but I bought one 13 years later after addressing “ issues”.

There were numerous teething problems ( including paint) that Cessna paid to have fixed.

Many owners pocketed the money so things were not taken care of.

Maybe some never were.

Do you still have a photo of it? Especially when you bought it and when was fixed? How long did you fly it?

No pix. Long time ago.

Flew it very little and only after we re- sold it.

Went to Toronto to pay for it and by the time I was back in US my partner

had sold it again It was a different world back then.

We had bought it for $7000 after doing the Annual!

Same time period : 80/87 $.42 / gal. and 100/130 was $.44 / gal.

Sorry you don't have photos. I will look it up via google and take a look at one of them.
And I'm sure the fuel has gone up considerably.

I looked on Google and found a photo of a Centurion. I didn't realize it had retractable gear. And it looks like a 4 seater. How does it compare to the cockpit area of a Cessna 172? Or are they basically the same but the retractable gear makes the difference?

I believe all 210s were retract, and 6 seaters. The one in your photo is from 1966, the last year of the wing struts.

They make great photo planes! If you look closely, you'll see the baggage door is off. This is where I ride.
