I'm trying to get a Scintillonics Inc. model #261 Position Light Flasher Unit to work with LEDs. I've got a 175B that I've converted to all LEDs, but the position lights won't flash anymore. I tried adding a resistor, but it got too hot. The unit works fine with regular bulbs. Is there a replacement unit that works with LEDs? Or, can I mess with the inside of the flasher? I've found some car flasher relays for LEDs, but they flash too fast. Aircraft flashers are usually slower.
