HI guys. New here.
I'm thinking about getting my first plane, probably a T210. I'm a bit lost on a few things. First off, how do I get a pre-purchase inspection done for a plane that's far away? Who can I trust to check it out? Should I use a broker or something? Second, I'm using AOPA VRef to see how much planes cost, but a lot of them seem way overpriced. Is this normal right now? How much should I offer?

since your looking for a T210 as your first airplane and having owned two over 36 years I highly recommend you get a broker. That is a complex airplane and if you get a good one they are wonderful capable aircraft. A bad one is definitely a money pit; pretty much like any other airplane.
Good luck

Just an fyi on brokers, make sure you define what you want them to do. I sold a plane to a buyer that first sent a broker to inspect. The broker read through the log books and took a few pics from 50’ and left. He never opened the cowling, started the engine, checked oil pressure, gauges etc. etc.
